Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an experienced Cost Estimator to join our Disaster Recovery Cadre. You will develop accurate cost estimates for FEMA Public Assistance projects, including damage assessment, scope development, and documentation suitable for audit and funding determinations.

Remote, field-based, or hybrid deployments may occur as needed. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in construction estimating or related fields, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to work in

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in estimating, engineering, architecture, construction management, or related.
• Experience developing conceptual, parametric, and detailed cost estimates.
• Experience estimating labor, equipment, material, and construction costs.
• Knowledge of modern construction practices and project scopes.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams; strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with MS Office; willingness to travel and hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Project scoping and damage assessment for disaster recovery.
• Prepare conceptual, parametric, and detailed cost estimates.
• Review plans, cost documentation, and estimating methodologies.
• Support program delivery and cost validation for recovery projects.
