Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst - Disaster Recovery Cadre (Finance) to support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs.

You will develop accurate cost estimates for infrastructure restoration and emergency work, coordinating with engineers, architects, and program staff to define eligible work and project requirements. This on-call cadre position may involve remote, field-based, or hybrid assignments across the United States, with emphasis on data analysis,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in construction estimating, engineering, architecture, construction management, infrastructure planning, or related discipline.
• Experience developing cost estimates for infrastructure or facility projects.
• Experience estimating labor, equipment, material, and construction costs.
• Familiarity with modern construction practices and project scope development.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs through project scoping, damage assessment, and cost estimating activities.
• Prepare conceptual, parametric, and detailed bottom-up cost estimates for disaster recovery projects.
• Review engineering reports, plans, and contractor proposals for cost accuracy.
• Provide technical estimating expertise to project managers and applicant representatives.
• Maintain project records and supporting documentation per client requirements.
