Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Data Analyst - Disaster Recovery Cadre (Finance) to support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs by producing accurate cost estimates for infrastructure restoration and emergency work. This on-call role spans remote, field, or hybrid assignments across the United States.

Responsibilities include scoping, damage assessment, estimating labor and materials, and ensuring documentation is clear and defensible for audits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in construction estimating, engineering, architecture, or related discipline.
• Experience developing conceptual, parametric, and detailed cost estimates for infrastructure projects.
• Experience estimating labor, equipment, materials, and construction costs.
• Familiarity with modern construction practices, project scope development, and inspections.
• Ability to travel as needed for field assignments.

Responsibilities

• Support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs through scoping, damage assessment, and cost estimating.
• Develop and validate project scopes and cost estimates for damage repair and restoration.
• Prepare analyses for roads, bridges, utilities, buildings, and other public infrastructure.
• Maintain clear, defendable estimate documentation suitable for audits and reviews.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and program staff.
