Job summary

AECOM is seeking experienced and professional CDBG-DR Case Managers to join our team in Texas counties, coordinating applicant intake, outreach, and case management services across 27 counties. Travel up to 100 miles roundtrip, 2-3 times per week, within commuting distance of the assigned office.

You will be the primary contact, assisting applicants with navigating program requirements to address housing recovery needs, and collaborating with program management and partners to meet goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 4 years of case management experience or equivalent.
• Must pass a state and federal criminal history/security background check.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid US Driver’s License and ability to travel up to 100 miles roundtrip, 2-3 times weekly.

Responsibilities

• Perform outreach, intake and assessments to establish program eligibility.
• Maintain a caseload and regular contacts to adhere to program guidelines.
• Protect applicants’ information and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain data systems with case notes and document uploads.
• Provide timely updates to applicants regarding case status and next steps.
