Job summary

AECOM is seeking experienced and professional Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Case Managers to support 27 Texas counties with applicant intake, outreach and case management services.

The role requires travel up to 100 miles roundtrip, 2–3 times per week, with residence within commuting distance of the assigned office. Compensation ranges from $25 to $28 per hour, based on education and experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma plus 4 years of case management experience.
• Must pass a state and federal criminal history/background check.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid US Driver’s License for travel to regional locations. Travel up to 100 miles roundtrip, 2–3 times weekly.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; comfortable with virtual collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform outreach, intake and assessments of program applicants and gather required documentation.
• Maintain a caseload and regular contacts to adhere to program guidelines.
• Protect applicant information and provide excellent customer service.
• Update client data systems with timely notes and document uploads.
• Attend meetings/trainings and support relocation decisions when needed.
• Collaborate with team to meet program goals and performance targets.
