Job description

Our client is seeking a Disaster Recovery Analyst to join their team. As a Disaster Recovery Analyst, you will be part of the Disaster Recovery (DR) program team supporting enterprise resilience planning, testing, governance, documentation, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and a proactive mindset that helps drive continuous improvement across DR readiness activities.

Location: Remote (US)

Pay Range: $30-$33/Hour on W2

What's the Job?
  • Support the TE Disaster Recovery (DR) program by coordinating DR planning, testing, governance, documentation, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Develop, maintain, and perform quality reviews of Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs), ensuring documentation stays current, complete, and aligned with corporate standards.
  • Coordinate disaster recovery exercises, tabletop tests, technical recovery tests, and failover activities, including scheduling, stakeholder communications, logistics, and evidence collection.
  • Track test results, lessons learned, corrective actions, and improvement opportunities; help expand DR testing and plan coverage across additional applications and regions.
  • Assist with governance and compliance support, including DR information coordination in CMDB/ServiceNow, validation of DR metrics and recovery objectives, and maintenance of audit evidence.
What's Needed?
  • Experience supporting enterprise Disaster Recovery programs, including coordination of technical failover, recovery, and resilience testing exercises.
  • Knowledge of recovery technologies such as cloud resiliency, backup, and replication solutions.
  • Experience coordinating DR planning and documentation updates with application owners, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.
  • ServiceNow and/or CMDB administration experience, including managing DR-related records, workflows, and configuration data updates.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Artificial Intelligence and data analytics, including Generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to improve DR documentation, plan maintenance, test reporting, and knowledge management.
