The County of Marin is seeking an Emergency Management Coordinator to support the Marin County OEM. You will focus on Emergency Operations, Mitigation and Recovery, Training and Education, and Public Outreach, with duties including research, readiness of the EOC, and coordination with agencies.

The ideal candidate has project management experience, strong writing and public speaking skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with local agencies.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in emergency management or related field and two years of professional experience desirable.
• Strong writing and public speaking skills for reports and outreach.
• Experience coordinating with emergency operations centers and public agencies.

Responsabilidades

• Research and analyze best practices for emergency response and preparedness.
• Maintain the readiness of the County’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
• Support staff with deployment and maintenance of incident response platforms.
• Coordinate with local and government agencies and lead training programs.
