Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Eastern Territory in Philadelphia seeks an Operations Coordinator for the Emergency Disaster Services division. The role supports divisional preparedness, response, recovery, and training initiatives, oversees on-call staff operations, inventory, and social media communications.

You will liaise with government agencies and partner organizations, coordinate training schedules, supervise volunteers, manage assets for city-wide events, and assist with deployment of personnel

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of emergency management experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive large vehicles and tow trailers.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for divisional preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation activities.
• Oversee on-call staff operations and manage canteen supply inventory levels.
• Maintain departmental social media communications and liaison with governmental agencies and partner organizations.
