Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking a Designated Coordinator to oversee program management for homes supporting individuals with disabilities. You will guide, encourage, support, and ensure safety and wellness while promoting independence in essential life skills through strong relationships and advocacy.

The role includes supervising Direct Support Professionals, handling accounts payable, payroll, budgeting, and maintaining partnerships with counties, families, and community

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or 1+ year direct care exp with disabilities or 65+ age), or equivalent education/experience.
• Alternative: 50 hours of HR services training with 4+ years direct care exp.
• Driver's license required; CPR/First Aid and med administration training may be obtained after hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program management for homes serving individuals with disabilities.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals; train and evaluate staff.
• Handle accounts payable, payroll records, petty cash, and budget monitoring.
• Maintain relationships with counties, families, and community organizations.
• Maintain documentation and participate in meetings/trainings; assist on-call for emergencies.
