Job summary

The State of Indiana's Division of Family and Social Services Administration is seeking a Service Coordinator for the Bureau of Developmental Disability Services. You will monitor placements and manage intake, eligibility, level of care, and service monitoring to support individuals with intellectual disabilities toward independence.

A bachelor’s degree in social services or health-related field plus one year of relevant experience is preferred; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience applying program knowledge, skills and abilities in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of governing rules and regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Understanding of budgeting and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Monitor KPIs to ensure program effectiveness.
• Develop, update, and monitor policies and procedures.
• Answer questions about program policies and procedures.
• Serve as technical consultant to stakeholders to clarify and interpret policies and procedures.
• Prepare and disseminate monthly and annual program reports.
• Review budget and ensure program assets are allocated appropriately.
• Monitor compliance and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Prepare training materials and train agency employees on program requirements.
• Deliver communication plans and communications.
• Liaise between agency and other state and federal agencies.
