University of Illinois Springfield seeks a Program Coordinator - Disability Specialist to manage the ODS Testing Center, ensure proper exam accommodations, and coordinate intake and documentation for students requiring services.

The role collaborates with professors and campus units to uphold policies, develop data insights, and represent the ODS at events. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• One year of education/training/work experience in the area of specialization; Master’s degree may substitute for one year.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations of the ODS Testing Center with students, staff and faculty.
• Maintain the exams spreadsheet and assist students needing accommodated testing.
• Provide intake for new students and review documentation; issue accommodation letters.
• Collaborate on alternative text formats and alternate test scheduling; assist with testing duties.
