Job summary

Adjoin Catalysts seeks a dedicated professional to advance services for individuals with disabilities across California. You will supervise direct support staff, coordinate referrals and intake, and develop client living/work placements that align with strengths and needs.

You will also train staff, maintain compliant records, and collaborate with agencies and families to achieve service goals while traveling as required and maintaining a person-centered approach.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Bachelor's degree or three years equivalent experience and/or educational equivalent in working with individuals with disabilities.
• Strong interpersonal and people skills are critical.
• Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to maintain organized records.
• Ability to follow detailed, multi-step instructions and multitask under pressure.
• Proven professional boundaries with confidential information.
• First-Aid/CPR certification or 45 days to obtain after hire.
• Valid CA driver’s license and insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Process referrals of clients from appropriate referring agencies.
• Expedite the intake and assessment process.
• Manage, develop and evaluate direct support staff.
• Assess client data and conduct ecological studies of living and work environments.
• Develop placements matching client strengths and availability.
• Provide training and support programs for clients.
• Plan staffing and coordinate with the Regional Manager.
• Collaborate with agencies, families, employers towards service goals.
• Participate in hiring, training, evaluation and separation of staff.
• Complete logs, reports and client evaluations timely.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
• Respond to client and personnel needs and escalate when needed.
• Provide direct service as required and be available for on-call.
• Travel to job fairs, meetings, and employer sites as required.
• Advocate with a person-centered approach.
