• Applicants must meet the Minimum Qualifications stated in the Classification Specification(s).

Responsibilities

• Determine claimant eligibility for SDI program benefits including Disability Insurance and Paid Family Leave.
• Conduct fact-finding interviews, respond to inquiries, and perform claim processing activities.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous customer service; may train others on policy and procedures.
• Record and maintain overpayment documents, process OPs, and pursue collection actions.
• May act as an expert witness before the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board.
