Capital Workforce Partners in Hartford, CT is seeking a Disability Resource Coordinator to improve employment pathways for individuals with disabilities within the American Job Center system. You will serve as a subject-matter expert, liaison, and program coordinator to strengthen services and coordinate funding across partners.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business, social science, social work, or related field.
• Five+ years of experience with employment and training or human services for people with disabilities.
• Experience in the North Central Connecticut workforce system is highly desired.
• Ability to train, coach, coordinate, and collaborate across multiple stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Serve as expert resource on disability programs for CWP and American Job Center staff.
• Train staff on resources and best practices for serving job seekers with disabilities.
• Conduct annual accessibility audits and address facility issues promptly.
• Provide guidance on supportive programs, benefits and services for workforce participation.
• Coordinate services and develop individualized employment plans for job seekers with disabilities.
• Support Youth programs with individualized supports under IDEA.
• Represent CWP on local and state disability committees and partnerships.
