Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services seeks a Nurse Practitioner Examiner to perform VA Compensation & Pension disability examinations. You will review records, conduct focused assessments, and render objective medical opinions for Veterans.

This role supports VA guidelines, collaborates with QA, and may involve charting from home with up to 10% travel to other clinics. Strong NP credentials and compliance with HIPAA are required.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the United States.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience.
• BLS certification with renewals.
• Experience in medical disability evaluations preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive medical disability examinations for Veterans.
• Review medical history and records; conduct focused assessments.
• Provide objective medical opinions per VA guidelines.
• Document findings in VA formats and reports.
• Coordinate with QA team and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and data confidentiality.
• Travel up to 10% to support other clinics.
