Job summary

LIFESPAN Services is seeking compassionate Employment Specialists to build relationships with local employers and create meaningful job placements for individuals with disabilities. You will work 1:1 with employers, provide training and mentorship to a team of Specialists, and help clients live, work and participate in their communities.

Schedule is Monday through Friday with flexible shifts; full-time roles include paid training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Pass criminal record and healthcare registry check.
• High school graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate onsite job instruction and place individuals in suitable roles.
• Manage an average of 12 job placements per fiscal year.
• Market to prospective employers to obtain job placements for individuals with disabilities.
• Provide training, mentoring, and follow-along support to staff.
• Submit accurate billing weekly by scheduled deadlines.
• Transport individuals to and from locations in a safe vehicle.
• Complete intakes and maintain records with standard procedures.
• Meet quarterly revenue objectives.
