Job summary

ServiceSource seeks an Employment Development Specialist (EDS) to develop community employment opportunities for disconnected youth and adults with disabilities under a multi-year grant. The role includes job development, coordination with Vocational Rehabilitation, and supporting advancement opportunities.

The grant is expected to end in early 2029. Travel across the state and flexible hours may be required as part of program delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in psychology, Human Services or related field and 1 year of experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with TANF population is preferred.
• Travel statewide or affiliate area; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Flexibility with hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes and assessments to establish employment goals and develop person-centered plans.
• Provide job development services and connect individuals to training resources.
• Provide post-employment services including job coaching and follow-up support.
• Build relationships with businesses, community agencies and vendors.
• Complete monthly billing reports and maintain participant records.
