Job summary

ServiceSource in Delaware is seeking a part-time Employment Specialist to support individuals with disabilities through counseling, assessment, and career planning. You will build relationships with employers, develop individualized service plans, and maintain regulatory documentation.

You will assist with training, job development, and ongoing support, while ensuring accuracy and effective communication in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and relevant work experience with program development and training working with individuals with disabilities required; Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related Human Services field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide job exploration counseling by delivering the career scope through standardized assessments and generate a report summarizing results.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with participants, support networks, and funding/referral sources, providing ongoing communication and documented reports.
• Develop relationships with current and potential employers to identify employment, assessment, and training opportunities for participants.
• Maintain files per policy to ensure consistent standards for regulatory entities and compliance.
