Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Workforce Absence Team Lead in Minnesota to supervise multiple teams of examiners and technical staff handling disability claims. You will monitor workloads, provide training, and guide examiner reports with strong leadership and client-facing responsibilities.

The role requires six years of claims experience, two years in supervision, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. A professional certification path is encouraged, with a focus on process improvement and quality

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of claims experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two (2) years of claims supervisory experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; licenses/certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Supervises multiple teams of examiners and technical staff for disability claims.
• Monitors workload and provides training to staff.
• Provides technical direction on examiner reports and claims adjudication.
• Reviews management reports and takes action to address issues.
• Performs quality reviews to ensure audit, contract, and quality standards.
• Acts as second level of appeal for client and claimant issues.
