The role offers mentorship, skill-building, and guidance to help individuals secure opportunities. You will develop ISPs, provide support through interviews, resumes, and job coaching, and build partnerships with businesses to promote employment for people with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Assesses client skills, advising on career paths and employment opportunities.
• Helps clients with job search, resume writing and interview preparation.
• Maintains progress notes and prepares monthly reports for the program.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates skills and career goals, advising on paths for employment.
• Communicates with clients to understand goals and interests for Career Development Plan.
• Intake of new referrals: assess interests and help achieve career goals.
• Assist with job selection, resume writing, and interviewing skills.
• Manage ongoing relationships with business contacts.
• Monitor, document, and evaluate client progress.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Coordinate referrals and ensure proper assessments.
• Maintain regular communication with Employment department representatives.
• Support job retention and advancement for individuals.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Help develop motivation and de-escalation tactics.
• Write ISP, monthly reports, Salesforce and HCSIS documents.
• Keep case files up to date.
