Job summary

Placement Partners is seeking an Employment Support Specialist to help adults with disabilities gain independence through meaningful employment and community involvement. You will meet clients in the community, at workplaces, and sometimes at home to provide job coaching, career exploration, and life-skills training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with reliable vehicle and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with disabilities in exploring career interests and securing competitive community employment through assessments, job search support, and employment planning.
• Provide individualized job development services including resume creation, employer outreach, application assistance, interview preparation, and job offer guidance.
• Deliver on-the-job coaching and mentoring by supporting onboarding, workplace success, scheduling, transportation, and barrier resolution.
• Promote long-term employment retention through ongoing training, advocacy, problem-solving support, and coordination with employers and interdisciplinary teams.
• Facilitate community integration and life skills development through person-centered support, community engagement, social skills training, and progress tracking.
