Job summary

ServiceNet Inc. is seeking an Employment Specialist in Hatfield, MA to support MassAbility-funded employment services and Coordinate wrap-around supports under the Comprehensive Career Services (CCS) team.

The ideal candidate will be organized, empathetic, and able to teach job seekers interview skills, resume writing, and goal setting while visiting employers and providing coaching in diverse work settings. This full-time role requires travel across Western Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• Active listening, verbal & written comprehension, critical thinking and problem solving are required.
• Travel is required; candidate needs a valid driver’s license and driving experience.
• Experience working with disabled populations in vocational settings is valued; sales/marketing background considered.

Responsibilities

• Assess job seekers’ vocational functioning from background, work history, interests, and strengths.
• Develop individualized placement and coaching plans with hours, wages, and benefits.
• Conduct job development and search activities and maintain employer relationships.
• Provide coaching and follow-up supports through 90‑day close milestone and beyond.
• Maintain a Career Portfolio documenting progress and outcomes for each job seeker.
• Collaborate with counseling teams and adjust service intensity per needs.
