Job summary

The role works under the Employment Manager and provides personalized guidance, skill development, and workplace supports to help participants gain and sustain employment, with on-site support at partner sites.

Qualifications

• Experience or education pertaining to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain respectful, caring, empowering relationships with individuals served.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to provide constructive feedback.
• Proficiency with computers and the ability to read, write, and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate individuals' skills, strengths, interests, and limitations to collaborate on realistic career goals.
• Provide technical and soft-skills training, including resume writing, interview preparation, workplace etiquette, and task-specific skills.
• Develop personalized employment plans outlining clear paths to secure and maintain employment.
• Provide hands-on on-the-job support at work sites and guide social interactions and problem-solving.
