Job summary

The Standard is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support the Employee Benefits business by analyzing and evaluating risk for new and renewing groups. You will apply underwriting guidelines to validate rates, plan designs, and contract provisions while ensuring accurate case implementation and a positive customer experience.

Working with Underwriting, Contracts and Premium Administration, you will help resolve issues, manage multiple priorities, and provide mentorship to teammates while

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of insurance experience, preferably in disability benefits.
• Customer service experience in high-volume or complex environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data extraction and basic formulas.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate risk for new business, sold cases, and renewal risks.
• Validate rates, plan designs, and contract provisions per underwriting guidelines.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Contracts, Premium Administration, and Field teams for timely case implementation.
• Resolve implementation issues through clear communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Manage multiple priorities and provide mentorship and process improvements.
