• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and grade information.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

• Mentor, train, and develop crew members while promoting teamwork and professional growth.
• Maintain accurate records for employee time, equipment usage, and daily production.
• Communicate project updates, operational concerns, and resource needs to project leadership.
• Support company safety programs and encourage safe work practices throughout the job site.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support project operations.

We are seeking an experienced Dirt Foreman to join our team in Waco, TX.

The ideal candidate will provide day-to-day leadership for earthwork operations while helping ensure projects are completed efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with company and project requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Previous experience as an Earthwork Foreman, Grading Foreman, Dirt Foreman, or in a similar leadership role within heavy civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of excavation, grading, site development, underground utilities, and roadway construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and grade information.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across field and office teams.
• Experience completing daily field reports, production tracking, and project documentation.
• OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three to five years of heavy civil construction experience, including experience leading field crews.
• Experience managing earthwork, grading, or site development projects is preferred.
