Job summary

HEI Civil is looking for an experienced Dozer Operator to join our Waco, TX team. The role focuses on operating a dozer across a range of heavy civil construction projects, with opportunities to operate loaders, excavators, scrapers, and more.

Responsibilities

• Operate a dozer to support a variety of heavy civil construction projects.
• Operate additional equipment as needed, including loaders, excavators, scrapers, backhoes, water trucks, motor graders, compactors, skid steers, and other construction equipment.
• Work closely with crew members to complete daily project tasks and follow site direction.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and accurately document findings.
• Keep assigned equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Perform routine equipment checks and notify the appropriate supervisor of maintenance or repair needs.
• Participate in daily crew meetings and project planning activities.
• Operate equipment in accordance with company procedures, project requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Communicate equipment concerns, operational issues, or job site observations to the supervisor.Assist with additional duties as assigned to support project needs.
• When equipment operation is not required, assist the crew with general labor tasks.

Education and Experience
