Job summary

HEI Civil in Texas is seeking a Construction Laborer in Waco to support heavy civil projects across roadways, bridges, and water infrastructure. You will assist field crews with site preparation, material handling, and general construction tasks to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site preparation and cleanup to help maintain an organized work environment.
• Perform excavation support tasks, including digging trenches, pits, and foundations as directed.
• Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Remove debris and excess materials from work areas.
• Assist equipment operators and skilled trades as needed to support daily project activities.
• Operate hand tools and small equipment in accordance with project requirements.
• Participate in daily crew meetings and follow direction from supervisors and project leadership.
• Perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Work collaboratively with team members to help meet project schedules and production goals.
• Follow company procedures and established job site practices.Perform additional duties as assigned.
