Job summary

University of Georgia’s Georgia Center for Continuing Education seeks a Director of Youth Programs to lead the year-round youth portfolio, including summer camps, competitions, and new initiatives. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 10 years of professional experience including 3 years supervisory experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Overnight camp experience preferred.
• Program development experience.
• Knowledge of youth development, safety regulations, and experiential education.

Responsibilities

• Administer and develop the year-round youth programming portfolio (60+ programs) for the Georgia Center.
• Direct year-round operational management of youth programs, including enrollment, logistics, and compliance.
• Identify partnerships, grants, and collaborations to expand offerings and funding.
• Develop and monitor an annual program revenue budget exceeding $900,000.
