Job summary

The Mountaineers in Seattle seeks an Associate Director of Youth Education to supervise youth programs, manage budgets, and guide strategy in line with our mission. You will lead staff and volunteers across day, overnight, school break camps, clubs, and gear library while ensuring safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include fiscal oversight, cross-branch collaboration, and setting vision for growth and inclusion in youth programming as part of our broader Mountaineers plan.

• Ability to work with volunteers and staff across programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee youth education programs (camps, clubs, partner programs, gear library).
• Provide fiscal oversight and strategic guidance for youth initiatives.
• Supervise three direct reports and mentor program leaders.
• Develop budgets, forecast resources, and track program metrics.
• Collaborate with partner programs and external vendors.
