Job summary

The Mountaineers, a Seattle-based nonprofit dedicated to outdoor education and conservation, seeks a seasoned Director of Development to elevate fundraising. You will lead major gifts, planned giving, annual funds, and partnerships to fuel programs and publications.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a diversified development program.
• Proven track record in major gifts and planned giving.
• Ability to work with boards and volunteers to drive fundraising strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead all elements of the development program including major gifts, planned giving, annual funds, and campaigns.
• Collaborate with the Board and Advisory Council to set strategy and steward donors.
• Manage a team, mentor staff, and travel regionally to engage donors and partners.
