Job summary

Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania and North Central West Virginia seeks a Director of Workforce Training to lead its Human Services division's training portfolio. Qualifications

  • Progressive leadership and supervision in workforce development, training, higher education, or a closely related field
  • Strategic planning and translating strategy into operational execution across a division
  • Department-level fiscal responsibility, including managing an annual budget

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic development of a cohesive digital skills, retail, and apprenticeship portfolio with stackable credentials
  • Oversee eligibility, enrollment, assessment, and credentialing processes for quality and accessibility
  • Align curricula to employer-validated competencies and apprenticeship standards with Business Engagement
  • Direct the instructional leadership framework for consistent performance and growth
  • Manage staff accountability and annual evaluations for direct reports
  • Develop, monitor, and manage the department budget and funding forecasts
  • Maintain compliance and data reporting for licensure, accreditation, audits
