Job summary

Water Environment Federation seeks an executive to lead the Treatment Division’s water production, treatment and distribution facilities, wastewater treatment facilities, laboratory services and pretreatment program in Alaska. The role ensures division objectives are met within budget and coordinates with boards, regulators and the public.

Under general direction, responsibilities include policy development, staff recruitment and supervision, and collaboration with diverse partners to advance

Qualifications

• High-level administrative management direction and control.
• Oversee recruitment, selection and disciplinary actions of division staff.
• Manage budgeting and policy development within fiscal constraints.
• Coordinate division activities with boards, regulators, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative leadership for the Treatment Division's programs and projects.
• Develop and manage division goals, objectives, and budgets.
• Coordinate with boards, community groups, consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies and the public.

Education

Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Legal Studies, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Project Management or related discipline

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Legal Studies, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Project Management or related discipline

Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Legal Studies, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
