Job summary

CMS Water Solutions seeks a Director of Water Treatment to lead and grow our commercial and industrial water treatment division, guiding the strategic vision, operations, and customer satisfaction across HVAC and process water systems.

You will manage a team of water treatment professionals, collaborate with senior leadership, and drive profitable growth while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and exceptional service for long-term client relationships. Compensation: $130,000-150,000/yr.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Business, Construction Management, or related field (equivalent industry experience considered).
• 8+ years of progressive experience in commercial or industrial water treatment.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC water treatment systems including cooling towers, chillers, boilers, and closed-loop systems.
• Experience managing customer relationships and large commercial accounts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Water Treatment division in alignment with company goals.
• Establish annual business plans, operational objectives, and performance metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
• Identify opportunities to expand service offerings, improve efficiencies, and increase revenue.
• Direct all day-to-day operations of the water treatment department.
• Ensure exceptional service delivery across all customer accounts.
• Develop standardized operating procedures and best practices.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure all projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
• Recruit, mentor, develop, and retain high-performing water treatment professionals.
