Job summary

WSB is seeking a Director, Water/Wastewater in Austin, TX to provide strategic leadership across delivery of water, wastewater, and reclaimed water services. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, and mentor staff while driving project delivery and client satisfaction.

The role requires a strong background in infrastructure programs, PE licensure, and the ability to develop account strategies and cross-sell services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred in civil/environmental engineering.
• 10–15+ years of experience with at least 5 years leading others.
• Licensed PE or ability to obtain additional PE licenses.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team including mid- and first-level leaders and contributors.
• Oversee multiple projects and client relationships for growth.
• Manage resources, budgets, and project delivery with a focus on quality and safety.
• Develop staffing plans, performance reviews, and staff development.
