Job summary

The State of Indiana's IDEM is seeking a Compliance Data Director within the Office of Water Quality. This role ensures accurate entry, modification, and maintenance of permit and inspection information across ICIS and related systems, supporting regulatory accountability and safeguarding Indiana’s waters.

• 5+ years of experience applying knowledge, skills, and abilities in a similar role.

• Strong understanding of federal and state water quality regulations.

Responsibilities

• Document and evaluate municipal and industrial facilities in ICIS and related systems.
• Perform quality assurance/review of MROs, MMRs, and DMRs; communicate corrections to operators.
• Enter, update, and maintain permit and inspection data in ICIS, NetDMR, CDX, and other databases; generate reports.
• Coordinate with internal staff, federal partners, regulated facilities, and external customers.
