Met Council in New York is seeking a Director, Volunteer Programs and Fulfillment Centers to lead volunteer opportunities and donor engagement across the five boroughs. You will oversee the Spitzer Fulfillment Center and spearhead Bronx expansion while managing three direct reports.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in development or volunteer management, with strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 5+ years in development, donor relations, nonprofit events, or volunteer management.
• Track record of mentoring teams and overseeing multiple programs.
• Experience creating donor engagement opportunities and stewardship.
• Strong project management, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage strategic priorities across multiple locations.

Aufgaben

• Lead volunteer engagement strategy and donor relationships.
• Plan and execute events across all five boroughs and expansion regions.
• Oversee Spitzer Fulfillment Center operations and Bronx expansion.
• Mentor the Volunteer Programs and Fulfillment Centers team.
• Represent Met Council at community events and donor engagements.
• Collaborate with Development Team to align volunteer opportunities with fundraising goals.
• Develop partnerships with synagogues, schools, and nonprofits.
• Design large‑scale volunteer programs including logistics and staffing.
• Coordinate initiatives across departments to intersect volunteerism and development.
• Develop annual calendar of volunteer opportunities around holidays.
