Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Director of Value Based Care Operations & Execution to lead the operational delivery of value-based care programs across the enterprise. You will ensure programs are implemented effectively, resolve barriers, and drive measurable outcomes aligned with enterprise goals.

The role coordinates clinical, network, finance, analytics, and operational stakeholders, maintaining accountability for execution while partnering with performance and strategy teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience in healthcare operations or strategy.
• 10+ years of experience in value-based care, program operations, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of value-based care programs across the enterprise.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure program requirements align with operational delivery.
• Identify and remove barriers to program implementation and execution.
• Establish workflows, governance, and accountability across programs.
• Ensure readiness for new programs, contract changes, and model updates.
• Oversee initiatives to improve program delivery and provider engagement.
• Translate insights from performance and analytics into actionable changes.
• Align operational processes with contracts, measurement, and financial expectations.
• Prioritize and sequence operational initiatives across stakeholders.
• Serve as escalation point for complex operational issues.
