Job summary

Devoted Health seeks a visionary Director of Utilization Management Operations to lead a large onshore team and an offshore partner network. This fully remote role drives SLA performance, process redesign, and AI-enabled improvements to authorize care efficiently while maintaining a high standard of member and provider experience.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in high-volume healthcare or enterprise operations.
• Proven track record of scaling operations while maintaining SLA.
• Experience redesigning multi-step processes for speed and reliability.
• Strong data mindset with ability to translate metrics into actions.

Responsibilities

• Own SLA performance for administrative steps supporting authorization review.
• Monitor Part B medical authorization turnaround times and remove barriers.
• Map and redesign end-to-end administrative processes for speed and consistency.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to shape roadmap and apply AI tools.
• Define measurable KPIs with Data Science and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead ~50 onshore coordinators and manage offshore vendor partners.
• Collaborate with Provider Network to optimize provider experience and touchpoints.
• Work with Senior Director of UM and other teams to stay aligned and audit-ready.
