Job summary

Shield AI seeks a Director – USMC Advanced Systems to lead strategic sales, customer engagement, and capture efforts for X-BAT and other advanced systems supporting USMC markets. This high-impact role drives adoption and revenue by engaging with USMC stakeholders.

You’ll bring defense sales expertise, deep understanding of USMC missions and acquisition frameworks, and the ability to manage the full business development lifecycle from opportunity identification to program close.

Qualifications

• 10+ years strategic capture / DoN acquisition experience.
• Deep knowledge of DoN/USMC acquisition and/or requirements processes.
• Experience with emerging technologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills with cross-functional collaboration.
• Active Secret clearance (TS preferred).
• DAWIA Program Manager - Advanced certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead acquisition offices shaping and responding to solicitations.
• Drive teams toward multi-year DoN program wins and high-value contracts.
• Build and maintain relationships within program offices and manage industry partner relationships.
• Anticipate customer needs and influence policy and solicitations to align with Shield AI portfolios.
