AbbVie in the United States seeks a Director of U.S. Therapeutic Area Strategies to shape government affairs strategies that advance access and policy solutions aligning with AbbVie's business goals. You will liaise with US GA and therapeutic BUs, drive advocacy partnerships, and guide cross-functional teams to ensure policy alignment across product lifecycles.

Formación

• Ten or more years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry, health care, or public policy.
• Ability to integrate political, policy and government affairs expertise to develop strategies.
• Experience leading coalitions and guiding cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills with executive presence.
• Travel up to 30% domestically.

Responsabilidades

• Develop GA strategies to remove barriers to patient access and support AbbVie’s objectives.
• Serve as liaison between US GA and therapeutic business units with policy insights.
• Build and sustain advocacy partnerships with third-party organizations.
• Provide strategic counsel to brand teams on policy developments affecting portfolios.
• Lead launch readiness and align with global policy teams.
• Manage resources and budget for government affairs initiatives.
