Job summary

World Wide Technology is seeking a Director, Trust and Assurance to lead our risk management program and drive certifications, controls, and evidence across the enterprise. You will partner with Legal, IT, and business leaders, directing audit activities and governing third-party risk while elevating our cybersecurity posture.

In this role you will shape the security program, mentor teams, and leverage AI/technology to improve visibility and trust with clients, partners, and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in information security, IT risk, compliance, or audit.
• Minimum of 5 years leading a team with proven leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop an organizational vision for the Trust and Assurance function based on IT and security goals, while driving tactical results.
• Leverage AI and innovative problem-solving skills to develop new approaches for traditional governance, risk, and compliance functions.
• Own the strategy and execution of WWT's security certification and audit programs (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, CMMC and similar frameworks).
• Define key performance indicators, SLAs, and risk metrics, applying rigor to optimize resources and drive business-impactful results.
• Collaborate across IT, Information Security, Legal, and business organizations to drive mutual success and build trusted relationships with senior leaders, executives, customers, and employees.
• Lead WWT's risk management program, including third-party and vendor risk, ensuring assessments align with regulatory, contractual, and business requirements.
• Partner with Legal and account teams to respond to customer security questionnaires, due diligence requests, and audit findings.
• Design and implement staffing plans that foster healthy teams aligned with the organizational vision.
• Be an outstanding communicator, motivating leaders and teams and working in the spirit of collaboration and mutual success.
• Embrace humility with confidence and use a risk-based approach for the organization's success.
