Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) seeks a Director of Trust and Assurance to establish and maintain trust with clients and partners. This role leads risk management, certifications, and policy governance across a global security program.

You will mentor a team, implement AI-enabled controls, and ensure compliance posture meets client and regulator expectations, influencing strategic security outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, CS, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in information security, IT risk, compliance, or audit.
• Minimum 5 years leading a team with proven leadership.
• US Citizenship required.
• Strong knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CMMC.
• Experience leading risk management and third-party/vendor risk.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CRISC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop an organizational vision for the Trust and Assurance function and drive results.
• Leverage AI to develop new approaches for governance, risk, and compliance.
• Own strategy and execution of security certification and audit programs (SOC 2, ISO 27001, CMMC).
• Define KPIs, SLAs, and risk metrics; establish dashboards for executives.
• Collaborate across IT, Information Security, Legal and business units to build trusted relationships.
• Lead risk management including third-party and vendor risk.
• Respond to customer security questionnaires and audit findings; turn posture into a differentiator.
• Design staffing plans to build healthy, high-performing teams.
• Communicate effectively; motivate leaders and teams; foster collaboration.
• Apply risk-based approaches to ensure organizational success.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or a related field
