Job summary

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) - Long Island Rail Road invites applications for a Director Transportation Operations Support. You will oversee data management, budgeting, and performance reporting across Fare Collection, On-Time Performance, and Risk Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in business/finance/IT/CS.
• Minimum 7 years budgeting/administrative support/operational statistics experience.
• 12+ years LIRR-Transportation experience with 10+ years in operations support management.

Responsibilities

• Direct development and governance of multi-source databases for Transportation operations.
• Oversee automation of ETL processes and scalable reporting tools.
• Provide strategic oversight of analytical modeling for service planning and labor budgeting.
• Coordinate with Service Planning, Payroll, MTAHQ, and OMB to ensure data integrity.
