Job summary

Pickett, an ESP Associates company, is seeking a Manager of Engineering for Transmission Lines in Tampa. You will lead and develop the regional transmission line engineering teams and ensure high-quality, cost-competitive design and delivery.

You will also contribute to business development, establish strategies, and collaborate with clients while upholding our SOLVE values and safety standards. The role requires PE and 15+ years in engineering leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.
• 15+ years of related engineering experience in consulting or electric utility.
• Ability to manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop transmission line engineering teams.
• Oversee project scope, schedules, and budgets.
• Support business development and regional growth.
• Ensure quality and adherence to standards and Pickett’s values.
• Maintain client relationships and develop new ones.
• Provide oversight and QA/QC for transmission line design.
