Job summary

Novartis Group of Companies in the United States seeks a TME Director Cardiovascular Metabolism to lead PoC programs and drive cross-functional clinical development. You will oversee trial design, data collection, and medical monitoring while coordinating with global teams on PoC strategies.

Qualifications

• MD with clinical subspecialty training preferred in cardiovascular disease or endocrinology/metabolic disease.
• Additional PhD/post-doctoral equivalent research experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead global project teams through PoC phase and program lifecycle from NTRC to registration.
• Own the clinical portions of the Integrated Development Plan through PoC.
• Act as medical monitor for one or more clinical studies.
• Communicate clinical matters to project teams and decision boards.
• Convene internal and external leaders to discuss PoC approaches.
• Evaluate clinical centers and engage collaborating investigators.
• Oversee publication and external presentation of PoC results.
• Oversee biomarker strategies in collaboration with biomarker experts.
• Identify and develop preclinical strategies to support program objectives.
• Present to Health Authorities as TM Expert.
