Job summary

Braven in Atlanta/Newark/New York City area is seeking a Director, Transformation and Operations to lead the design and execution of transformation initiatives, including an expanded partnership pilot with a higher education partner, and to build scalable operating models across campuses.

This role reports to the Head of Transformation and requires strong systems thinking, program management, and the ability to move teams toward shared outcomes in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of strategic operations experience with complex projects.
• Ability to collaborate across functions in a matrixed environment.
• Experience in education or nonprofit sectors preferred.
• Comfort with AI tools (e.g., Claude) and various tech systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and launch special initiatives and multi-year roadmaps.
• Own project plans, milestones, and dependencies for transformation work.
• Serve as connective tissue between transformation and Braven’s data/tech infrastructure.
• Build playbooks and operating systems to scale pilots to future sites.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and internal buy-in.
