Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Director, Technical Program Manager for EPTech to guide large-scale, technically complex programs that align with business priorities. You will influence roadmaps, drive platform convergence, and partner with senior leaders to balance speed, cost, and resiliency.

You will also help expand the TPM discipline within the team, leveraging your expertise to teach best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• At least 7 years of experience managing technical programs.
• Experience designing and building solutions using distributed computing or SOA.
• 3+ years of experience building distributed systems using cloud computing (AWS).
• 3+ years delivering large and complex programs with cross-functional teams.
• MBA or Master’s Degree in a related technical field.
• PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification.
• 3+ years of people management or influencing an org as an IC.
• Experience driving platform standardization across portfolios.
• Track record of TPM maturity at scale in engineering organizations.
• Exceptional communication and influence skills with senior leadership.
