Job summary

Myers Industries, Inc. seeks a Director of Total Rewards to lead the COE, shaping compensation philosophy, job grading, and salary banding while guiding benefits strategy and payroll operations across all locations.

You will partner with HR, Finance, and Legal to ensure compliant, cost-effective programs, drive analytics, and maintain equity and compliance across multi-site operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Master's degree in HR, Business Administration or Finance preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CCP, CBP, PHR, SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Total Rewards COE and administer compensation philosophy, job grading framework, salary bands, merit processes, and equity cycles.
• Own enterprise-wide compensation processes and approve field decisions outside approved grade ranges.
• Oversee benefits strategy, enrollment, carrier management and claims oversight.
• Manage payroll operations, multi-site governance, tax compliance, and vendor management across all sites.
