Job summary

The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) is seeking a Director of Total Rewards to lead the design, implementation and administration of compensation, health and retirement benefits, wellness and work-life programs. • 6–10 years of progressive experience leading the strategy, design and implementation for employer health and retirement benefits, compensation, and wellness programs.
• 3–5 years in a leadership role with strong vendor management and contract experience.
• Knowledge of employment laws, tax regulations, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and administration of compensation, health and retirement benefits, wellness and work-life programs.
• Develop strategies to attract, retain, and engage employees while balancing cost-effectiveness.
• Partner with senior leaders and external vendors; manage total rewards communications and compliance.
• Analyze market trends and workforce data to recommend improvements benefiting the employee experience.
