Job summary

Fidelity Investments in Durham, NC is seeking a Director to lead time away from work programs onsite. You will drive strategy, governance, and continuous improvement, partnering with HR, Legal, Compliance and external vendors to deliver compliant, effective programs for associates.

You will translate business needs and market trends into enhancements, oversee governance and program implementation, and ensure an excellent associate experience across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in benefits, leave administration, HR policy, compliance, or related areas.
• Strong knowledge of time away programs and applicable regulations.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving program changes from strategy to implementation.
• Influence stakeholders across HR, Legal, Compliance and business teams.
• Strong analytical skills using data to identify trends and support decisions.
• Excellent communication, relationship management and organization skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS or leave management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, design and enhancement of Fidelity's time away from work programs.
• Assess program performance, trends, and regulatory developments to improve programs.
• Partner with HR Shared Services, capacity planning teams and vendors for administration.
• Collaborate with Legal and Compliance on policy updates, governance, audits and risk.
• Lead cross-functional projects and ensure successful policy and system changes.
• Maintain program documentation and governance for consistency and compliance.
• Use data and reporting to evaluate effectiveness and provide leadership insights.
• Develop communications and training materials for time away programs.
• Foster strong relationships across HR and business teams to adapt to needs.
